Baiselsberg

The Baiselsberg mountain reaches a height of 477.3 meters and features forested slopes descending from west to east within the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park.

The medieval Bromberg Castle, constructed around 1200 by the lords of Bromberg, stood near the summit until its reduction to ground level in 1824.

The foundations of the Baiselsberg convent, located 500 meters south of the summit, remain as evidence of religious activities before the Reformation period.

Several marked hiking trails connect to the summit, including a 9-kilometer route from Horrheim and a 17-kilometer path from Hohenhaslach with 450 meters elevation gain.

Large boulders on the Heidenkopf southwestern hillside present archaeological interest, though their connection to prehistoric settlements remains unconfirmed by conservation authorities.
