Havelberg

Havelberg is a town situated on an island formed by the Havel River, featuring traditional German architecture and narrow cobblestone streets. The layout follows old urban patterns, and buildings display construction styles from multiple centuries.

The town began as a trading center after joining a major merchant league in the 14th century, benefiting from goods transported on river routes. This trade diminished in the late 15th century as commercial networks shifted elsewhere.
