Dorum

Dorum is a coastal settlement in Lower Saxony with flat terrain and traditional thatched-roof houses. The village sits right at water level and displays the typical appearance of a North German coastal community.

The settlement operated as an independent community until 2015 and has a long past as a rural republic in the Bremen region. Its merger into Wurster Nordseeküste municipality represents the most recent chapter in its history.
