Dinosaur Land

Dinosaur Land is an amusement park with about 50 detailed dinosaur figures arranged in landscaped gardens along walkways. Each model represents a different prehistoric species and comes with information panels available in multiple languages.

The park opened in 2008 and brought a prehistoric attraction to Rügen, an island in northern Germany. Since its opening, it has become an established destination for families interested in ancient history.

The park combines knowledge about dinosaurs with family entertainment through models and information displays showing how these creatures looked and lived. Visitors can learn about different species and their characteristics as they walk through the grounds.

The park can be explored on a circular route with level pathways leading to each dinosaur model. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes and allow time to read the information panels at each station.

A 45-meter-tall Seismosaurus model dominates the grounds as the main attraction and shows visitors the enormous size of this prehistoric creature. This giant model is visible from a distance and serves as an orientation point across the entire site.
