Trierer Weihnachtsmarkt is a Christmas market at Hauptmarkt in front of Trier Cathedral, featuring around 95 wooden stalls. These booths sell handcrafted ornaments, regional foods, and seasonal decorations throughout the holiday season.

The Trier Christmas Market was first held in 1978, organised by showman Oscar Bruch junior. It began on the Hauptmarkt; the Domfreihof was added only after its renovation in 1999, having previously served as a car park. The Bruch family firm still runs the market with the ARGE Trierer Weihnachtsmarkt.

Local artisans demonstrate traditional crafts at their stalls, and regional choirs perform German Christmas carols on the cathedral stage throughout the season. Visitors can experience these traditions firsthand as they walk through the wooden booths.

The market is easily accessible on foot, located directly at Hauptmarkt next to the cathedral for easy navigation. Visitors should dress warmly since the market operates during the cold winter season.

Since 26 November 2019 the seventh German Mulled Wine Queen, Verena Müller of Trier, has been based at the market. The title is awarded nationally, and she represents Moselle wine at the stalls.
