Strandbad Wendenschloß

Strandbad Wendenschloß is a lido with a 70-meter sandy beach along the Dahme River. The facility offers spacious sunbathing areas and is surrounded by forest.

The bathing site was founded in 1915 and has been run by the Leidig family ever since. For over a century, it has been a popular gathering place for swimmers on the north bank of the Dahme.

The restaurant Zum Seestern is part of the site and serves traditional Berlin cuisine along with regional specialties. Visitors can dine both indoors and on the terrace overlooking the water.

Access to the beach is straightforward and the site has changing rooms, beach chairs, and lifeguards on duty. Visitors should bring their towels and swimwear, and arrive early on warm days to find good spots.

During winter months, the site transforms with an ice skating rink and heated sauna floats on Berlin waters. This makes it a year-round destination for different water activities and relaxation.
