Hünerberg

Hünerberg rises to about 375 meters (1,230 feet) in the Taunus range within Hochtaunuskreis in Hesse. The summit provides open views across the surrounding forested hills and the broader Hesse landscape.

In ancient times, the Romans built a military installation at this location as part of their strategic expansion into Germanic territories. This fortification served their broader campaigns during the first centuries of the Roman era.
