Gut Schede, Architectural heritage monument in Herdecke, Germany.

The manor house at Gut Schede was constructed in 1810 using Ruhr sandstone and features distinct architectural elements of its period.

The estate traces its origins to the 9th century and became home to the Harkort family in 1748, who advanced steel production in the Ruhr region.

The barn at Gut Schede hosted regular art exhibitions and concerts from 1995 to 2015, providing a platform for regional artists.

The estate remains private property of the Harkort family, with limited access available only by foot through designated pathways.

The main barn, built in 1805, contains a rare self-supporting roof structure that served as a test design for the manor house construction.
