Sibyllenloch

The Sibyllenloch is a cave with natural limestone formations that extends beneath Teck Castle and runs through passages within the surrounding mountain rock. The chamber gives a direct sense of the geological structure of this landscape.

In medieval times, the cave became known through stories of a wise woman who offered advice and predictions to those who came to her. This connection between the place and its legend has persisted to this day.

Access to the cave starts with a short walk of about three minutes from the castle grounds. A flashlight is necessary to explore the dark areas and move safely.
