The Deutsche Bahn AG headquarters is a modern high-rise with a 65-meter central tower spanning 17 floors and five-story side wings. The structure provided roughly 45,000 square meters of usable space across its different sections.
The building was constructed in 1993 as the new headquarters for Deutsche Bundesbahn after the company relocated from its former site near the freight station. This central facility marked a fresh start for rail management following German reunification.
The building represents the modernization of German rail services following reunification and shows how the company evolved from a state agency into a modern corporation.
