Rathaus Wesel, Gothic town hall in Wesel, Germany
The town hall features a reconstructed Flemish-Gothic facade with detailed stone sculptures, intricate ornamentation, and large windows across its exterior surface.
Built between 1455 and 1477, the original structure was destroyed during World War II artillery fire and underwent reconstruction in 2011 through community funding.
The building includes statues of historical figures such as Frederick William of Brandenburg and Charlemagne between the windows of its main floor.
The reconstruction project cost 3.2 million euros, with half funded by Wesel residents, the city administration, and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Unlike other town halls in the Lower Rhine region, the facade maintains a single unified structure with a side entrance rather than a central division.
