Huracan, Steel roller coaster in Belantis, Germany
Huracan is a steel roller coaster at Belantis amusement park featuring five inversions along a 560-meter track. The ride lasts about 90 seconds and reaches speeds of 85 kilometers per hour.
The ride was originally planned for the F1-X-Park in Dubai before Belantis acquired the Gerstlauer model. It opened to the public in June 2010.
The name comes from the Maya god of wind and storms, connecting to the themed area around it. Visitors walk through a space decorated with temple-like structures that create a sense of stepping into another world.
Visitors must be between 130 and 195 centimeters tall to ride this attraction. The ride moves about 800 guests per hour, so peak times can mean longer waits.
The first drop angles at 97 degrees, which is steeper than vertical and briefly makes riders weightless. This extreme opening creates an unforgettable start that sets it apart.
