Marstall Dresden, Royal stables complex in Dresden, Germany.
The Marstall Dresden consists of four wings with a central courtyard, featuring classical architectural elements and sandstone decorative details throughout the structure.
Built between 1745 and 1748, the Marstall replaced the former stables at Johanneum when that building was converted into an art gallery.
The building now serves as workshops for the Semperoper and Schauspielhaus theaters, contributing to Dresden's performing arts productions.
Located at Am Zwingerteich 2, the Marstall stands near the Zwinger Palace and offers access to several theater production facilities.
The structure includes a grand riding hall from 1795, spanning 80 meters in length with decorative reliefs depicting ancient chariots.
