Nessie, Steel roller coaster in Hansa Park Sierksdorf, Germany
This steel roller coaster spans 741 meters of track, incorporating a vertical loop and reaching speeds of 79 kilometers per hour during its course.
Opening in April 1980, this attraction marked a milestone as the first roller coaster with a vertical loop installed in a German amusement park.
The ride takes inspiration from Scottish folklore, combining the legend of the Loch Ness Monster with modern engineering and entertainment technology.
The coaster operates with three trains of seven cars each, accommodating 28 riders per train and processing 1700 visitors every hour.
The track features a tunnel segment where riders experience the sensation of entering shark jaws, adding an unexpected twist to the experience.
