Remigiusberg, Summit and medieval castle ruins in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
The Remigiusberg rises 368 meters above sea level, standing 120 meters higher than the surrounding North Palatine Uplands terrain with sandstone formations.
The original castle from the 11th century was replaced in 1127 by a Benedictine abbey dedicated to Saint Remigius, connected to the Abbey of Saint-Remi in Reims.
The priory church of Saint Remigius and Michelsburg Castle ruins represent medieval architecture and contain tombs of 15 members from House Palatinate-Veldenz.
Access to Remigiusberg is possible through Kreisstraße 69 from the north, connecting with Kreisstraße 21 between Haschbach and Rammelsbach villages.
Two quarries near Remigiusberg contain minerals such as Anatase, Azurite, Baryte, and Calcite, though collecting activities are currently restricted.
