Staatenhaus Köln, Event venue in Deutz, Germany
The Staatenhaus features parallel halls with a colonnade and brick facade, divided by an open arch construction near the Rhine riverbank.
Built in the 1920s for the Pressa exhibition of 1928, the building provided presentation spaces for participating nations before suffering wartime damage.
The venue serves as a temporary home for the Cologne Opera until 2024, presenting performances across three halls with different capacities.
Located at Rheinparkweg 1, the venue offers 16,900 square meters of space and accommodates up to 12,000 people for events and performances.
The protected monument combines exhibition spaces filled with natural light and will transform into a musical theater with 1,800 seats.
