Tour Total Berlin, Modern high-rise building in Europacity district, Berlin, Germany
The Tour Total building features a rippling facade with faceted concrete piers and rises 69 meters with 16 floors of office space.
Constructed between 2010 and 2012, this building marked the first completed structure in the 40-hectare Europacity development plan of Berlin.
The architectural firm Barkow Leibinger designed the tower with a geometric grid pattern that reflects the French energy corporation Total's presence in Germany.
Located near Berlin Hauptbahnhof station, the building contains 28,000 square meters of space and houses 500 employees of Total Deutschland.
The two-story ground-level arcade creates passages between public areas while concrete columns support a distinctive entrance canopy.
