Ultramarin, Marina in Germany
Ultramarin is a yacht marina in Kressbronn am Bodensee with space for over 1,400 boats on a large property. The marina has modern cranes that can lift yachts up to 25 tons, berths with electricity and water, a retail shop for boat supplies, and on-site boat repair services.
The marina was built on the site of a former gravel quarry, which created the deep water conditions with depths up to 20 meters that define it today. Over the decades it has grown into a modern water sports harbor and the largest yacht marina on Lake Bodensee.
The name Ultramarin refers to the deep blue color of the water and the world of sailing. Today the place brings together boat owners and water sports fans who gather here to maintain their boats and spend time on the lake.
The marina offers about 1,500 parking spaces, clean restrooms and showers, and washing machines for boaters. All essential infrastructure like electricity hookups, water stations, and Wi-Fi are available, and there are restaurants and a bakery within walking distance where visitors can get food and drinks.
The site was built on a former gravel pit, creating extremely deep water conditions with depths up to 20 meters in the middle sections. This geological feature makes it ideal for large yachts and sets it apart from other marinas on the lake.
