Viktoriaschule Essen

The building was established in 1912 as a girls' school and named after Viktoria Luise of Prussia. Starting in the 1974-1975 school year, the institution began admitting male students.

The school is named after a Prussian princess, reflecting the value placed on girls' education when it was founded. Visitors can still see the carefully designed entrance areas and doors that tell this historical story.
