Haus der Technik, Technical education center in central Essen, Germany
The Haus der Technik spans across multiple floors with two elevated corner buildings and features tall rectangular windows along its main facade.
The building, constructed between 1922 and 1925, initially served as Essen's stock exchange before becoming a technical education institution in 1936.
With more than 5,000 consultants from universities, industries, and government sectors, the center delivers specialized knowledge in engineering and technical disciplines.
The facility contains 40 conference rooms equipped with modern technology, accommodating groups ranging from 10 to 570 participants for educational programs.
The structure stands on a sloping plot, with its eastern corner reaching eight stories and its western section displaying distinctive bay windows across two floors.
