Gloria-Theater, Performance theater and cinema in Bad Säckingen, Germany

Gloria-Theater is a performance and cinema venue in Bad Säckingen with 615 seats arranged in rising rows. The large stage features an orchestra pit, and a first-tier balcony provides excellent viewing from above.

Opened on 26 November 1959 as the Gloria cinema in Friedrichstraße 21, built to plans by architect Albert Ruf and run by the Timmermann family. After the operator's death in 1965 the house was auctioned and passed to the town of Säckingen. In 2005 it was listed as a monument of 1950s architecture; since 2007 the Gloria-Theater GmbH has run it as a musical and guest-performance theatre.

The venue hosts musicals, arthouse films, and guest performances from opera to comedy with both national and international artists. Visitors experience a mix of local productions and touring shows that make this house a cultural gathering place.
