Moerschieder Borr, nature reserve in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany
Moerschieder Borr is a protected nature reserve in the town of Mörschied, Germany, covering about 20 hectares of dense forest with rocky slopes and quartzite stone formations. Walking trails wind through the area, with some paths following the edges of rocky outcroppings and leading to a summit at nearly 650 meters (2,130 feet) above sea level.
The area was officially protected as a nature reserve in 1940 and has been maintained to preserve its natural state since then. In recent years, it became part of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park, remaining a special place where nature can develop with minimal human interference.
