House of One

The House of One is a multi-use building in Berlin that brings together prayer spaces for Christians, Muslims, and Jews in a single structure. The individual religious areas are connected through a central hall where different communities can meet and interact.

The site previously held the Petri Church, which was demolished after World War II. The new building marks a shift toward shared religious space on this historically significant location.

The building serves three faith communities that regularly gather for dialogue and joint programs throughout the year. You can observe how different religious traditions coexist and interact within the same space.

The building is located in central Berlin on Petriplatz and is easily accessible by public transportation. Be aware that certain areas may not be open to visitors during prayer times.

The architectural design intentionally preserves three separate places of worship, so each religion maintains its own distinct space. This balance between separation and unity is the core feature of the building's concept.
