Felto - Filzwelt Soltau, Museum about felt in Soltau, Germany
The museum occupies five floors of a former felt warehouse, featuring interactive exhibits, model machines, and hands-on felting activities for visitors.
The industrial production of felt in Soltau spans 170 years, with the museum opening its doors to the public in August 2015.
The ground floor houses a felt market selling products from Nepal to Soltau, supported by fifty volunteers from five local church communities.
The museum welcomes visitors every day from 10:00 to 18:00, including public holidays, with wheelchair access throughout the building.
From the 23.80-meter observation deck, visitors gain a view of Soltau's center and the grounds of Röders AG manufacturing company.
