Tower on Milan Square, Modern tower in Europaviertel, Stuttgart, Germany
The Tower on Milan Square is a modern 21-story building in Stuttgart's Europaviertel district. The structure combines hotel accommodations, retail shops, and dining venues across its floors.
Construction started in November 2018 and finished in spring 2022, converting a former freight transport area into a contemporary complex. The site had previously served industrial logistics functions before this transformation.
The building incorporates artistic facade elements designed by Mariella Mosler, following a dedicated competition held in 2018 to enhance its exterior appearance.
The tower is easy to spot from street level and is located in an area with good public transport connections. Ground-floor retail and dining areas are open to the public, while the hotel sections serve registered guests.
The building earned DGNB Gold certification for sustainable building practices and energy efficiency. Its fiberglass concrete facade and integrated rooftop gardens help reduce its environmental impact.
