Vineum Bodensee

Vineum Bodensee is a wine museum housed in a historic building in Meersburg, displaying wine culture and production across its exhibition spaces. The collection includes artifacts and displays that show various aspects of winemaking and regional wine traditions.

The museum opened in 2016 and occupies the former Holy Ghost Hospital building, which served the community for several centuries. Inside stands a working wine press from 1607, representing an important technical achievement from that era.

The museum displays wine bottles from regions around the world and connects local wine traditions with international production methods. Visitors can see how wine culture around Lake Constance differs from other wine-growing areas.

The museum has limited opening times, so visitors should check ahead and allow enough time for their visit. The exhibition features several interactive stations where visitors can explore and experience different aspects of wine culture themselves.
