Zentrum Kreuzberg

Zentrum Kreuzberg is a modern residential complex made of reinforced concrete with 12 floors and a height of 35 meters, featuring a curved design that faces Adalbertstrasse. The structure defines the streetscape through its distinctive form and material composition.

The residential complex was completed by architect Johannes Uhl in 1974 during a period of intensive urban renewal in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. The project emerged when this district was becoming an important center for experimental housing in West Berlin.

The building sits in a neighborhood shaped by diverse communities, with numerous local shops and restaurants throughout the surrounding area. The architecture reflects the active local culture that has defined this district for decades.
