Pinnow House, Manor house in Breesen, Germany

Pinnow House is a neo-Gothic manor in Pinnow, part of Breesen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It grew from a smaller tenant house that was rebuilt from 1863 under architect Carl Schäfer, following plans by Conrad Wilhelm Hase, and completed in 1869 by Heinrich Wiethase. The brick building has pointed arches and steep gables, and Friedrich von Klinggräff helped design both the house and much of its interior.

The estate belonged to the von Aschersleben family by 1612, passed to Reimar Ernst von Voß in 1668 and to the Klinggräff family around 1700. Friedrich von Klinggräff had an existing tenant house enlarged from 1863; Conrad Wilhelm Hase planned it, Carl Schäfer built it, and after Hase's dismissal in 1864 Heinrich Wiethase completed it in 1869. Klinggräff shaped the house and much of its interior himself.

Friedrich von Klinggräff, a member of the Corps Hannovera student fraternity, saw the Gothic style as the embodiment of Germanness and wanted a "genuinely German, simple, pious house" that would shape the growing youth. He intervened extensively in the plans and helped design much of the interior. The estate is privately owned and not open to visitors.

The house is privately owned and not open to visitors; the park and grounds are not a public attraction either. The building stands in Pinnow, part of the Breesen municipality in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district. Since 2013 it has been under monument-compliant restoration, and in October 2012 and April 2018 it was named Denkmal des Monats by Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's heritage office.

North of the manor house stands a medieval motte about two metres high, protected as a monument and originally ringed by a moat; a tower once stood on top. In the park, sightlines were laid out from the house toward two ancient oaks, the larger called "Schöne Eiche" and named Germany's most beautiful oak by the Kuratorium Alte liebenswerte Bäume.
