The German state sold the former Fürst-Wrede barracks site to Bayern Munich in 2006, leading to the campus opening in August 2017.
The center combines sports training with academic education, providing dormitories for 80 students who pursue both athletic and scholastic development.
Located 2.5 kilometers from Allianz Arena, the facility includes a grandstand for 2500 spectators, offices, and a multipurpose sports hall.
Four times larger than Säbener Straße training ground, this 70-million-euro complex features an athletics track and dedicated football academy building.
