MO82, Contemporary skyscraper in Am Oberwiesenfeld district, Munich, Germany
MO82 is a 70-meter-tall skyscraper with 21 floors located in the Am Oberwiesenfeld district on Munich's north side. Its glass and concrete facade houses student accommodations, a hotel, and office spaces.
MO82 was built in 2018 on the site of a former Knorr-Bremse AG industrial facility, transforming industrial land into a mixed-use development. This project was part of the urban renewal efforts near Olympiapark.
The building brings together student housing, hotel space, and offices in a single structure, showing how modern Munich combines different ways of using urban land. Walking around it, you notice how this mix reflects contemporary city living and working patterns.
The building sits directly next to the Oberwiesenfeld U-Bahn station on line U3, offering easy access to public transportation and the city center. Getting to Olympiapark or other parts of Munich takes just a short ride.
The 50-million-euro complex was designed by two architectural firms, Hilmer Sattler and Steidle Architekten, who combined their expertise for the project. This partnership between two respected firms shaped the building's distinctive appearance and layout.
