Stadthaus, Administrative building in Speyer, Germany
The Stadthaus features three floors with a central part and third floor set back from the main facade, adorned with ornamental decorations throughout the exterior.
The building, completed in 1903, initially served as headquarters for the Palatinate Insurance Institution before becoming Speyer's city administration center in 1960.
The entrance portal displays a Palatia niche figure, while the third floor exhibits allegorical statues representing youth, diligence, industry, agriculture, and age.
The Stadthaus currently functions as the administrative center of Speyer, housing municipal offices and the offices of the mayor and deputy mayor.
French Savonnières stone sculptures by artist Gustav Adolf Bernd decorate the building's third floor, representing different aspects of society and economy.
