The MOMus Museum of Modern Art spans 3,300 square meters within the northeastern wing of the Lazariston Monastery complex in Thessaloniki.
The museum opened its doors in 2001, establishing an additional exhibition space at Warehouse B1 in the port area of Thessaloniki.
The museum collection contains Russian avant-garde artworks from the early 20th century, including pieces by artist Liubov Popova and other modernist creators.
The museum operates exhibition spaces for permanent and temporary displays, offering guided tours, workshops, and educational programs throughout the year.
The Costakis Collection represents one of the largest assemblages of Russian avant-garde art outside Russia, featuring experimental works from 1900 to 1930.
