Constructed in 1925 by architect Konstantinos Kitsikis, the building received official protection status in 1989 to preserve its architectural significance for future generations.
Located on Patision Street, the building holds historical importance as the residence of opera singer Maria Callas from 1937 to 1945.
The exterior of the building can be observed from the street, while its central location provides easy access to other architectural landmarks in Athens.
In 2017, the ownership of this 1,590-square-meter structure transferred from the Retired Seamen's Fund, marking a significant change in its administrative history.
