Kalavryta Holocaust Museum

The Kalavryta Holocaust Museum occupies a former school building that served as a gathering place during World War II. The collection includes photographs, documents, and objects from Greek and German archives that document this dark period.

In December 1943, German occupation forces carried out mass killings of male residents as a reprisal action. This campaign destroyed the town and left deep scars on the community that led to the creation of this memorial.
