Kokkoris bridge, Stone bridge in Zagori Municipality, Greece
The Kokkoris bridge spans 36.4 meters across the landscape, connecting the villages of Koukouli, Dilofo, and Kipoi in central Zagori.
Built in 1750 under Noutsos Karamisinis sponsorship, the bridge received renovations at the end of the 18th century by Alexis Noutsos and in 1910 by Grigoris Kokkoros.
The bridge represents the architectural techniques of Greek stone masons who constructed over 160 arched bridges throughout the Zagori region during the 18th and 19th centuries.
Visitors can access the bridge through marked hiking trails that connect multiple historical structures across the Zagori municipality.
The structure acquired its current name from Grigoris Kokkoros, a local miller who funded major maintenance work, though it was originally named after Noutsos Kontodimos.
