Loggas beach, Beach in Corfu, Greece
Plage de Loggas is a small beach of sand and pebbles on the northwest coast of Corfu, sitting at the base of tall clay and limestone cliffs. A winding path with steps leads down from the clifftop to the shoreline, where the water stays shallow close to the shore.
For a long time, the beach was known mainly to fishermen from the nearby village of Peroulades, who used it as a sheltered spot. Its difficult access kept it away from large-scale development for decades.
The beach is easiest to reach by car or scooter through the village of Peroulades, from where a steep path leads down to the shore. The descent can be hard for people with limited mobility, and it is worth bringing water and snacks since facilities on site are minimal.
Just above the beach, the 7th Heaven restaurant features a glass skywalk that lets you look straight down at the cliffs and the sea below. Visitors can also scoop clay from the cliff walls and apply it to their skin as a natural treatment, a small ritual that many people try on the spot.
