Syki Bay, Corfu

Syki Bay is a small cove on the northeast coast of Corfu with a shore covered in smooth pebbles rather than sand. The water is remarkably clear and slopes gently, with lush green vegetation surrounding the shoreline and trees providing shade on either side of the bay.

The bay has maintained its role over generations primarily as a site of traditional fishing with docks that have been in use for an extended time. The undeveloped nature of the location has remained intact to the present day, making it an authentic piece of local coastal culture.

Parking is available on the side of the nearby road but requires caution when entering or exiting due to high curbs. A short path leads down to the beach where sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented, and a small bar uphill offers drinks and snacks for refreshment.

The water is refreshingly cool due to freshwater inflows from one side, making it particularly pleasant for swimmers and contributing to its clarity. This natural freshwater source is uncommon in the area and adds to the pure, clean feeling that many visitors notice at this location.
