Akoli Beach

Akoli Beach is a pebbly shoreline on Corfu's coast with large rocks scattered throughout its stretch. Steep cliffs rise on both sides, creating a natural frame around the cove.

This area belonged to the ancient settlement of Kassopei during Classical Greek times. Archaeological discoveries in the region point to early human habitation.

Local fishermen continue their centuries-old tradition of casting nets from small boats in the waters near Akoli Beach during early morning hours.

The beach has no facilities, so visitors should bring their own supplies and equipment. Access is by way of roughly a 25-minute forest path from the nearby Avlaki Beach.

Submerged rock formations create natural pools that attract gatherings of Mediterranean fish species. These underwater features are most active during the warmer months of the year.
