Château Lynch-Moussas

Château Lynch-Moussas is a winery in Pauillac covering approximately 62 hectares of vineyards that grow Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot on gravelly soils mixed with clay and limestone. The production facilities blend traditional methods with temperature-controlled steel tanks for fermentation.

The estate was founded in the 18th century by Count Lynch of Ireland and later divided into separate properties. The Lynch-Moussas section passed to the Castéja family, who have managed it continuously since then.

The Castéja family has shaped this estate since 1919 and visitors sense their lasting influence in the cellars and vineyards. The wine-making traditions here reflect generations of family knowledge passed down through the decades.

Visitors can book wine tastings and estate tours in advance at 86 Cours Balgueire in Pauillac to ensure a spot. The property also offers exploration of both the main wine and second label wines from the collection.
