Roger Constant discovered this archaeological site in 1957 while searching for another entrance to Lascaux, revealing the oldest Neanderthal burial in Western Europe.
The museum hall displays artifacts excavated from the Neanderthal deposit, offering insights into prehistoric human settlements in the Vézère Valley.
The site provides guided tours in French and English, with entrance fees of 7.50 euros for adults and 4.50 euros for children aged 5 to 12.
Visitors can observe live bears that have been reintroduced to the site, connecting the present with the prehistoric period when these animals inhabited the region.
