Gare de Limoges-Bénédictins, Railway station in Limoges, France

The central railway station stands on a large platform spanning ten railway lines, featuring a copper-covered dome and a 67-meter clock tower.

The station opened in 1856 with a wooden structure, replaced by stone in 1860, before the current building was constructed between 1924 and 1929.

The station served as a filming location for a Chanel No. 5 advertisement in 2008, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and starring Audrey Tautou.

The station connects Limoges with major French cities including Paris, Toulouse, and Angoulême through multiple daily intercity and regional train services.

The station takes its name from a former Benedictine monastery that stood at this location before the French Revolution closed religious institutions.
