Château Clos Haut-Peyraguey

Château Clos Haut-Peyraguey is a winery in Bommes with roughly 17 hectares of vineyards. The vineyard consists mainly of Sémillon grapes with a smaller portion of Sauvignon Blanc, producing white wines classified under the Sauternes appellation.

The estate was owned by Monsieur de Pichard, president of the Bordeaux parliament, until his death during the French Revolution in the late 18th century. This change of ownership marked a turning point during the political upheaval of that era.

The vineyard maintains traditional harvest practices with grapes selected by hand according to ripeness criteria. This approach shapes the character of the wines produced here and reflects a deep commitment to craftsmanship.
