Jardin botanique de l'Université de Strasbourg

The Botanical Garden of Strasbourg University is a 3.5-hectare outdoor museum displaying roughly 6,000 plant species from different climates and habitats. The site includes greenhouses for tropical plants and open areas with systematically arranged collections.

The site was established in 1619 as one of France's early botanical gardens and relocated to Strasbourg in 1884 when the region came under German administration. This move followed the scientific standards of the era and shaped the garden's current layout.
