Circuit de Loire-Atlantique, circuit automobile français
The circuit de Loire-Atlantique is a motorsport racing track in Fay-de-Bretagne with a length of about 3.4 kilometers and 14 turns of varying shape and size. The course features a long straight section of almost 1000 meters, different track sections for various skill levels, and is used for vehicle testing and driver training.
The track was built in 1992 for the French car manufacturer Venturi to test and develop their sports cars. After Venturi ceased operations at the site, local authorities took control and transformed it into a center for driver training, safety instruction, and vehicle testing.
The facility is located about 20 kilometers from Nantes and is easily accessible from the city. It offers different programs for various skill levels and features multiple track sections to accommodate different activities and experiences.
Endurance driver Léo Roussel set a notable lap record on the track, completing a lap in just over one minute and fifteen seconds while driving a prototype vehicle. This fast time demonstrates how effectively the facility is used for high-performance testing and the development of new vehicle technologies.
