Golf des volcans, Golf course in Orcines, France
Golf des Volcans is a golf facility in Orcines featuring three separate courses with a combined 33 holes, including an 18-hole championship layout. Pine and birch trees frame the fairways throughout the property.
The facility opened in 1984 with 9 holes after members of the Charade golf club discovered this location during the 1970s. The property was subsequently expanded to become a larger golfing destination.
From 1992 to 2007, the course hosted the Open des Volcans Challenge Tour event, where future European Tour players competed.
The course provides 50 practice areas including 15 covered stalls and three putting greens for year-round training. Equipment rental is available to help you make the most of your visit.
The property sits within the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, offering views of Puy de Dôme mountain from many fairways. This setting makes the experience distinct from other courses in the region.
