Montagne des Ubacs is a 697-metre summit in the Bouches-du-Rhône, 3 km north-east of Vauvenargues, between the Sainte-Victoire and Concors ranges. It stretches over 6 km, its highest point near the hamlet of Grand Sambuc. The D 11 road from Vauvenargues to Jouques crosses its northern slope at the Col du Grand-Sambuc (615 m).

The name comes from ubac, the Provençal word for the shaded northern slope of a mountain, the side turned away from the sun. The mountain's northern flank, crossed by the D 11 road over the col du Grand-Sambuc at 615 m, is the ubac itself, while the sunnier opposite side is the adret.

A road crosses through the northern pass, making the peak accessible by vehicle. Visitors should note that the shaded north side remains cool while the southern slopes warm up during the day.

The mountain stretches across multiple kilometers and forms a natural dividing line between different areas of the region. This length makes it a recognizable landmark that stands out when viewed from many directions.
