Pointe d'Uble

Pointe d'Uble is a summit in the Chablais Alps that stands at 1,963 meters elevation. From the top, you can see across to the neighboring peaks and down into the valleys below.

Local mountaineers have climbed these paths for generations as part of the wider exploration of the French Alps. The route follows trails that have been used by residents and travelers for a long time.

The local population maintains Alpine traditions through mountain activities and regional cuisine specific to the Haute-Savoie department.

The hike starts from the La Crotte parking area and takes you first through forest, then opens into open pasture sections. The final part becomes notably steeper and more challenging as you approach the summit.

The path initially crosses through forest areas before ascending into pastures with a particularly steep final section of 24 percent gradient.
