Parc de la Cerisaie, Urban park in Croix-Rousse district, Lyon, France.
The 4.5-hectare park contains 1,200 trees, including a collection of oak species such as Turkey oak, French oak, and Sessile oak.
Landscape architect René-Edouard André designed the park in 1913 on the former property of the Gillet family, who owned chemical factories along the Saône River.
Ten contemporary sculptures by artists including César, Takis, and Markus Raetz stand among ornamental motifs and sphinx sculptures throughout the grounds.
Located at 25 rue Chazière, the park opens daily from 8 AM to 7 PM in winter and until 10 PM in summer, featuring playgrounds and fitness trails.
The République des Canuts maintains a vineyard of 300 gamay grape plants within the park, producing wine known as Clos des Canuts since 1986.
