Pont de Venterol

The Pont de Venterol extends across a span of 53.6 meters, featuring a widened 5-meter roadway that allows vehicles to pass each other seamlessly.

Constructed in 1864, the bridge underwent significant renovations from November 2009 to July 2010, requiring partial demolition and reinforcement of its original structure.

The bridge connects two distinct communities, representing a vital link in the local transportation network that strengthens connections between neighboring municipalities.

Following its 2 million euro renovation, the bridge now accommodates heavier vehicles and includes pedestrian walkways, eliminating previous winter-related structural concerns.

The bridge's support cables previously required heating during winter months to prevent freezing, a technical challenge that influenced its modern structural redesign.
