Tour Thiers rises to a height of 90 meters with three interlocking sections and features a network of antennas reaching 111 meters at the top.
The construction of Tour Thiers in 1975 led to the demolition of several 19th-century buildings, including Hotel Thiers and other Art Nouveau structures.
The design by architect Michel Folliasson represents the transition of French cities toward contemporary architecture in the 1970s through concrete and glass elements.
The building combines office spaces and a hotel near Nancy train station, with access from Rue Raymond Poincaré and Place Thiers.
The construction of this 28-floor building prompted Nancy's municipality to halt further tall building projects, redirecting focus to smaller-scale developments.
